Tyler Corrington’s 2006 season on the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) tour resulted in being named the Resistol Rookie Of The Year in the Saddle Bronc competition.

Tyler’s rodeo career started at age 10 riding steers at the local rodeo in his home town of Hastings, Minnesota. A few years later his dad found a bronc saddle that fit young Tyler and that became his specialty. Perhaps there was a hint at the success he is having on the professional level by the fact that he was a three-time Minnesota high school saddle bronc champion.

After high school, Tyler headed to Ft. Scott Kansas Community College to join the rodeo team where in 2005 he finished 6th in the Saddle Bronc competition at the College National Finals.

During his rookie year Tyler made championship round at major rodeos such as Austin, Pendleton, Cheyenne, Dodge City and winning 2 out of 3 rounds in San Antonio while winning rodeos in North Platte and Lubbock
