Rodeo has largely dominated Kirsten Vold’s life since she was born at a rodeo in El Paso, Texas. Today she is general manager of Harry Vold Rodeo Company, one of the largest rodeo stock contractors in the country and responsible for the day to day operations of the business which provides bucking horses, bulls and other rodeo livestock for more than 25 rodeos throughout the country each year.

During these rodeos Kirsten can be found right in front of the bucking chutes making sure that every event runs smoothly. She also operates her own Colorado guest ranch and has started her own breeding program for rodeo bucking horses and bulls.

 

 

Kirsten attended Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas and then transferred to the University of Southern Colorado where she earned a degree in mass communications. After graduation, Kirsten worked for a sports apparel marketing firm and a recording company before joining her father’s business full time.
